Alex Heigl presents a concert of original compositions augmented by historical images and recordings drawn from the Library of Congress’ collection “California Gold: Northern California Folk Music from the Thirties.” His solo guitar work fuses pre-war country blues fingerpicking with complex spatial effects and electronics.
