Potrero Hill, San Francisco →About
Join your Divisadero neighbors and San Francisco Public Works for a morning of greening and beautifying the Divisadero Street medians. Together, we’ll put in new flowering succulent plants and other drought-resistant local native flora. We will also plant up to 10 trees in empty sidewalk basins. Volunteers will meet near 351 Divisadero St and then work on the medians for the 300 block and 400 block. SF Public Works will provide lane closure and tools. Please sign up so we can prepare enough tools. We typically start removing green waste at 10:45 AM. Please stay until the end so we can complete all the tasks. ### Agenda - Safety talk - Planting demo - Gardening, planting, weeding, pruning, cleaning - Leave the green waste on the street - Rake green waste into large piles - Load green waste into the trucks starting around 10:45 AM. ### What to Bring/Wear - Bring a reusable water bottle - Wear sunscreen and closed toe shoes - Dress in layers ### Community Partners - SF Public Works - District 5 Supervisor Bilal Mahmood - Divisadero Merchants Association - North of Panhandle Neighborhood Association (NOPNA) - Alamo Square Neighborhood Association - Divisadero neighbors
