Calling all grown-up artists: Have you ever felt stuck, bored, or just plain uncreative? Have you ever felt like maybe you’d like to make art, but you’re not sure where to start? This program is for you! Come seek advice from the most creative of all humans — kids. Kids, you know what to do. Come prepared to help these questioning grown-ups find their creative spark. We’ll kick off our program with Danielle Krysa, also known as the Jealous Curator, reading her book How to Spot an Artist to get our ideas and our questions flowing. Then, Danielle will moderate the Q + A session. Paper and drawing materials will be provided for brainstorming and note-taking. Later on at 1 p.m. Danielle will hold a reading and conversation about her new book Real Artists Wear Black, recommended for audiences ages 16 and up.
