Great america / backpack

About

A Work-In-Progress showing of Zaccho Artist in Residence Alma Esperanza Cunningham, Great America/Backpack is about things: the things we hold onto but never use, and why we can't get rid of them. Exploring desire, identity, loss, and the ideas we internalize about beauty and worth, the work examines the disconnect between who we are, who we want to be, and how we want to be seen. Absurd, awkward, and up close.
