Presented in collaboration with San Francisco Performances, the Paul Taylor Dance Company showcases its innovative modern dance repertory across three distinct programs under the direction of Michael Novak. Audiences can expect a curated selection of Taylor's celebrated works alongside his pioneering avant-garde collaborations, including *Junction* with designs by Alex Katz, *3 Epitaphs* featuring designs by Robert Rauschenberg, and the masterwork *Esplanade*. A special highlight of the engagement is a staging of Alwin Nikolais’ landmark 1953 piece *Tensile Involvement*, a historic work that cemented Nikolais as the father of multi-media theater.
